I’m not posting this *just* with Valentine’s Day in mind. If this day is relevant for your business, in line with your values and a good revenue opportunity then PLEASE GO FORTH. Shower your marketing with affection and sprinkle it with confetti.
This ‘day of love’ is also perceived as an opportunity to jump on another Valentine’s Day Marketing band wagon that isn’t relevant or doesn’t sit right with you. This therefore is not a mindful approach and could end up feeling awkward and a bit cringe! And that becomes reflected in your marketing…
Love can be shared all year round and if your customers and fans feel your genuine admiration, care, gratitude, respect, nurturing and compassion (did I miss anything there?!) they’ll long, adore and lust for more. 💖
Plenty of V-Day buzz words included for your pleasure. 😉
Personally, I’m a traditional kind of girl and still believe in love notes and letters (direct mail and email newsletters in modern speak – their power mustn’t be underestimated).
How do you show appreciation, loyalty and admiration for those that love your business?
