I love how more and more this community is listening to our own minds and our wellbeing regarding any “rules” on consistency.
I haven’t lost work for not posting for a few days, I haven’t lost a bunch of followers and I’m still as invested (probably more actually after focusing some energy elsewhere).
There are pros to being consistent (i.e. your business WILL NOT GROW if you post once a month on social media as your only marketing effort) but the proof is there that you don’t have to be posting often if you don’t want to.
In fact, too much posting and noise and chasing that insta fame and acceleration can not only be annoying to followers and ideal clients, but can be draining on you as a human being too.
I have had every intention on being more visible here this week, I usually do 🤣, but life gets in the way and my client work and my children take priority. If you saw my stories you might have seen we had a situation which literally needed me to down tools, and nothing bad happened in my work as a result.
Be kind to your marketing mind. A business doesn’t run itself nor does it market itself but taking a few steps back sometimes to rest, restore or even brainstorm, can be such a blessing. 💓
