Here is your reminder about customer service – a chance to revisit and remind yourselves, your customers, followers, staff and suppliers of the (hopefully!) fantastic customer service you provide.
In many ways, customer service is more important than your marketing.
Replying to DMs/Comments/Emails (and quickly), providing an efficient service and delivery, having extensive knowledge, great relationship and communication skills and (my favourite) gratitude.
Do your customers and followers know what makes your customer service of a great standard? Do you offer a little something special? A touch of ‘sparkle’? Do you actually connect with your customers?
Customer service, without realising sometimes, is 100% part of your retention and loyalty strategy. To keep customers coming back for repeat purchase, referral and recommendation.
Their potential lifetime value to your business can be AMAZING!
More on retention and lifetime value in future content, however once you have got hold of a loyal customer, they’ll keep coming back to you which saves you time and marketing resource having to constantly find new leads and clients.
Spend some time sitting down evaluating your customer service and now, more than ever, might be a good time to really appreciate and connect with those who matter to your business (i.e. paying customer vs lingering followers).
And whatever you do, wear it with a smile, kindness, compassion – always.
